AMS Soil Auger Kits are complete, compact setups for augering to depths of 16′

The AMS regular soil auger is commonly used for obtaining disturbed soil samples at or near the surface and for boring to depths where soil samples may be obtained with a separate soil sampler or soil core sampler. The bits of the regular soil auger are open to allow entry of small soil clumps and relatively small rocks and particles. This kit allows the user to auger to 9 feet in most soil lithologies, and then collect a soil core sample.

Kit Includes:

• TWO 3-1/4″ Hex QP regular auger buckets
• THREE  3” Hex QP Extension (additional extensions available upon request)
• ONE Hex QP 18″ rubber coated cross handle
