The specialized probe features a rugged conical tip, open junction design, and a glass body making it ideal for measuring the pH of soil directly or after preparation of a soil slurry with deionized water. The open junction design reduces clogging from organic materials found in soil for a more stable pH measurement and reduced maintenance.
